So, I had a thought when talking with a friend....
In my Timeline "The Maple Leaf Forever", Canada gains 100% freedom from the UK in 1867. All of British North America (with the exception of Rupert's Land and British Columbia, who join Canada later, as well as most of the UK's holdings on this side of the world), form "The Kingdom of Canada".
But, how can I attract greater foreign investment in Canada? Not just from the USA and UK, but from all over the world. Have Canada go through a similar (though much smaller) economic boom as the US, with major Canadian industrialists helping to pull the nation forward.
Also, could I attract some great minds like Tesla? Who sets up shop in Montreal and becomes Edison's Canadian counterpart?
Thoughts or ideas on these would be much loved.
Thank you;
