Help me with my Homework: Weimar Republic

As said, my history teacher came up with this task. Make the Weimar Republic survive. A quick summary of the points we had on a working sheet:

Reasons for the Downfall of the Weimar Republic


  • Foreign Policy, the Treaty of Versailles and his political, economic and psychological aftereffects
  • Economic Reasons, the Depression, impoverishment and dissatisfaction of the population
  • Constitutional Reasons, the Weimar Constitution had his flaws, the Reichspräsident played the Ersatzkaiser, Artikel 48
  • The role of leading politicians, anti-parliamentary aspirations like Hindenburg and his gang
  • The labor movement, organizational division, Opposition between SPD & KPD
  • The Pro-Republic parties, no stable parliamentary majority and coalition wars
  • Left & Right extremism, a radical opponents Community, anti democratic parties like the KPD & NSDAP
  • Old Elites, the Military, civil servants, the agrarians, all with conservative/authoritarian values
Although I have written a lot by myself I thought posting it here would be a good idea. I already have learned a lot thanks to the AH community about said topic. But perhaps some of you had ideas to certain points from my work sheet.
