Help: Arsenal of Democracy or Darkest Hour?

I would ask this on the Paradox Plaza forums, but there are probably too many vested interests over there, so, as the title says:

Arsenal of Democracy or Darkest Hour?

I fancy upgrading HOI2, but suspect that HOI3 won't function on my laptop.

DH has an b-e-autifull new map.

DH. 10 times out of 10. It has most of the improvements of AoD (or so I think), plus several new features. And it's very easy to install and play mods on DH.
