Hi has anyone see that trailer for this new Apple TV series, I like the Retrofuture North America but watching the trailer I noticed that the MC is a Timeshare salesman he has Pie in the Sky belief in living on the Moon, but seeing the world setting and my love of Pulp/Noir stories set in late 1940's to the 1960's his fellow workers and workroom looked like a boiler room reminds me of Enron's Trader floor.

The setting has Fallout feel to it, the cars aren't Atomic powered but they do hover. The cynic in me wonders about the dark underbelly of this setting hence why I would like to create a P.I. or a Police Detective who last name is Gernsback,

That's one of reasons why my MC is named George Hugo Gernsback, a former New York Police Inspector now a PI, and his agency which opened last year is a rising one I didn't wanted a Philp Marlowe like bottom of the barrel PI.

New York has Retrofuture protential such buildings that weren't built, also projects as well.
