Heavier Londong bombinng WW1

I have been reading "The First Blitz". It seems that what sounds like relatively modest attacks caused disproportionate effects.

Had Germany put more effort into terror bombing would anything change?

Elektron...

Had the fire bombing raids planned for late September 1918 occurred, the effects on London would have been catastrophic and might have forced the country to sue for peace.

Sorry, no. By 1918 the British have invested too much blood and treasure to quit just because a portion of London is destroyed and a few thousand civilians are killed, which realistically is the limit of what the Germans can hope to accomplish.

London sees more devastation, zeppelins are seen as cool evil instead of steampunk, and OTL goes on except for the butterflies.

Not that late. Maybe if they attempted that at the end of 1916 or early in 1917.

Aircraft development is pushed further ahead as several desperate aircraft firms compete to create high-altitude Zepplin Interceptors.

first the Germans have to figure out where Londong is and do the zeppelins have the range to reach it and return.... come on guys it's not that hard to check your spelling, especially in a title

Yeah, move up the development of the elektron incendiary bomb to 1916-1917 and things could really change.

If a few hundred are killed in the bombing, I can see the British pushing harder for reparations and disarmament at Versailles. Rather than only banning possession of airships by the German military, the British might demand that the entire German zeppelin industry be dismantled and its assets handed over to the Allies.
