Hi all,
I'm surprised this hasn't been discussed here before (or at least nothing has come up in my search for this topic).
IOTL the first 1974 British election resulted in a hung parliament, with the Conservatives gaining the most voats, but Labour ending up with more seats.
What if Ted Heath went to the country a few weeks earlier than OTL, winning a small majority in the process?
What happens to the Labour party ITTL? I can't see Wilson hanging on. Does the discontent within the Conservative party (which would still be there imho) lead to a leadership challenge?
What happens to the Trade Unions, Northern Ireland and Britain in general?
