Hearts of Iron IV "Fictionalization."

Gundala- A Factory Worker named Sancaka who's superhuman abilities were awakened when he was struck by lightning. May be a problem as his story is possibly set in 2019.
Well, the original Gundala comics were published in 1969. Both the rights to Sri Asih and Gundala now belong to the company Bumilangit, which is now making a cinematic universe similar to the MCU featuring their characters.

If modern day is involved you could character from game such as GTA (US),Max Payne 3 (Brazil),Persona (Japan) etc as leaders or general

I did consider Mods in other time periods but want to prioritize World War II though I suppose I should throw out some ideas for other settings.

Crusader Kings 2: 769-1453
Would cover mostly "Mythical Stuff" some moved up in time to be included King Arthur rules in England, Charlemagne in France, Beowulf in Denmark, Arabia is going through the events of Aladdin but with Sinbad having his adventures and Sheherezade as the mother of Jasmine. In the rest of Europe, most of the iconic Fairy Tales are taking place(possibly throwing in Shrek just for fun).
Europa Universalis IV: 1444-1836
The big kick off here would be colonization. We'll be seeing who colonizes all the fictional lands from Gulliver's Travels or Utopia and so on.
Victoria II: 1836-1936
For this I see the fun part as being all the Victorian era stuff like Dracula, 20,000 Leagues under the Sea, Sherlock Holmes and so on.

Hearts of Iron IV: 1936-1949
What we're currently working on.

Other mods in Hearts of Iron IV, assuming they cover around the same distance would be the following. If there's a converter that allows you to play one mod into another, that would be amazing but as far as I know I don't think there is.

Cold War: 1949-1962
The New Frontier:1963-1975
Cold War Hot: 1975-1988
The Eugenics Wars:1988-2001
Millennium Dawn:2001-2014
Title Pending: 2014-2027
Title Pending: 2027-2040
Title Pending: 2040-2053
Title Pending: 2053-2066
Title Pending: 2066-2079

Well for medieval (CK 2,EU4 and maybe vic2) blackadder definetly comes to mind (i mean they did cover from richard III death to WW1 and a modern day special) i can see in blackadder 1 he becomes a king for awhile (canonically he did but only for seconds) until got replaced by someone as for 2 i dont quite know because i havent watched as for 3 well he becomes king george 4 in the end there is 2 well 3 specials i think one set in the english civil war another set in early victorian and the other is set in modern day (i think 1999)

Blackadder I has the death of Richard III but Henry Tudor does not immediately take over. This would place the events of the first Blackadder season in 1485. So the War in the Roses would be covered first with Richard III having Richard IV as her heir and he having two children, one of which is Edmund Blackadder, who could become King.

Blackadder II is during Elizabeth's reign , Gloriana in this case and is a member of the court with an assassination attempt and impersonation carried out by Ludwig.

Blackadder III would have Edmund Possibly replacing and impersonating King George IV. I actually imagine a Zombie outbreak in Britain at around this time due to Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, which could possibly lead to Blackadder's death(since this season is the only one that ends without Blackadder and the whole cast getting killed off, making it fitting if Zombies are the ones that do them in.

Blackadder IV would largely be a World War I soldier and be a bit trickier to personally implement but not impossible.

The next Blackadder which would be focus on would be King Blackadder from the special where a present day version uses time travel to make himself King. Here the way he would do this is its possible there is an incident which kills most if not all of the royal family where Ralph Gainsworth Jones from King Ralph becomes King before being replaced. Blackadder could actually use time travel to reveal his family line is actually royalty since he impersonated King George IV and so could become King and elect Baldrick as Prime Minister.

What position will george and lord percy fill? I think melchett could be the general here (if counting ww1 i think he could replace douglas haig i mean they are both incompetent and sorta have the same face)

That could work. If we do end up just making a World War I mod, then I'd like it to go from 1907 to 1920. This way the War in the Air from H.G.Wells could be included(which I headcanon as lasting from 1907 to 1911 along with a Theodore Roosevelt stand in as a leader(starting in 1907 but could also win reelection in 1912. George is likely related to the royal family but has decided to fight in the war and Lord Percy also holds a position.

Chinese Leaders New
Ok this was from a private conversation with Dumanios on the leaders of China.

Dumanios:

Got just a few things for China, though there's certainly some more stuff I could include but I'd rather wait with those for changes to the Focus tree in those cases.

329IiPo.png

I made Chen Zhen the Democratic leader for China. Chiang Kai-Shek is still the non-aligned leader, maybe with a "for now" kind of addendum.

52uU0vX.png

Chairman Peng has a portrait of his actor, Burt Kwoak. Though Chairman Peng does have his own appearance in the film, that would be used for his older portrait, similar to how base-game Mao turns into old Mao after 1950.

Manchuria is now led by Ueda, the real-world leader of the Kwangtung Army. Given the Kwangtung Army's veto, Ueda basically held the keys to the car, so to speak.

rkPBKFH.png

Tianzi here is sort of a Puyi counterpart. She's way younger and only leads the non-aligned party. She's taken from Code Geass, where she's the official leader of the Chinese Federation, though there she holds very little power.

The Manchurian focus Independence War also now comes with a switch to non-aligned ideology baked in.

I made non-aligned idealogy decisions a thing, though currently they only work for countries with Staunch Monarchist specialists , which is currently just Hungary and Russia, though that'll expand later.

Any other leader portraits not posted yet?

Hmm i think japan hasnt and france and maybe spain too
France has a few but is missing "Fictionalized" leaders, though Louis Renault from Casablanca(here in a Charles De Gaulle style role), and Phillipe Gerbier from Army of Shadows is a General in the Free France mode. France is a bit tricky to find fictional leaders for so I'm open to ideas. I've opened it up to a rule that the characters don't have to be leaders in their source material, though depending on the character we'd have to justify it(I really want to have the Phantom of the Opera AKA Erik Claudin as a leader just for an excuse to have Lon Chaney Sr's iconic Phantom appearance as a leader.

Japan has a Democratic leader from Code Geass. Emperor Yoshiro from Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3 is out Hirohito analogue, played by George Takei(the game is set in an alternate universe but one where Japan was never defeated in World War II and Yoshiro is based on Hirohito so his inclusion makes sense).

There's a Threadmark for the French and Japanese Leaders were currently have.

In case you're not aware. This is one of the faces I want to lead France.

Oh aight sorry my bad hmm what about australia or canada maybe even mexico

Australia

Will need to look into Australian Superheroes. There's one from around the time that I can't remember the name of but had a magic belt and I think a Hammer like Thor's.

Mad Max I imagine taking place either in a Post Apocalyptic mod or in the "A Colder War" 80's mod for Hearts of Fiction IV(basically World War III breaks out in the 80's but Humanity recovers.

List of fictional Australian Prime Ministers:

Mr. Seaton 1949-1966 (On the Beach)

John Gorton-1968-1971(Real Life Person but based on the film The Dish)

Andy 1991-1996( Simpsons Episode Bart vs Australia).

Martin Toohey 2016-????(Secret City)

Sir Les Patterson, a character created by Australian Comedian Barry Humphries, is also fair game as he's held multiple government positions but was born in 1942.

Was also thinking of making Saxton Hale from Team Fortress 2 a possible leader of Australia.

Canada

Canada is home to the Weapon X program(Marvel Comics). It also has bizarre effects such as causing people to burst into coins when defeated(Scott Pilgrim vs the World).

Andronicus Arcane from the comedy Film Yoga Hosers, while shown working with Adrien Arcand, here I imagine he actually replaced Arcand, given his similar name.

Prime Ministers of Canada

Sir Henry Marwood-1867-1873(Pour la patrie by Jules-Paul Tardivel)

Sir John Howlett-1873-1878(father of James "Logan" Howlett," Marvel Comics)

Sir Henry Marwood-1878 - 1891(Pour la patrie by Jules-Paul Tardivel)

Johnny Canuck-1891-1896(Johnny Canuck)

Terrance Meyers 1896 - 1911 (Murdoch Mysteries)-Making him a Wilfred Laurier stand in.

William Murdoch - 1911 - 1917(Murdoch Mysteries)

John Hodgson-1917-1920(from Road to Avonlea)

William Penrose - 1920 - 1921(The Scarlet Claw)

George Crabtree - 1921 - 1930(Murdoch Mysteries)

William Thatcher-1930-1935(When Calls The Heart)

Johnny Canuck Jr-1935 - 1942(Johnny Canuck)-I actually wanted Canuck Jr here as Johnny Canuck is similar to America's Uncle Same but for Canada so having him lead Canada during World War II fits bitter in my opinion. Johnny Canuck Jr is actually a reimagining of the Concept of Johnny Canuck from political cartoons in 1869 where he's a war hero. Since the new version of Canuck appeared in 1942, I imagine he resigned intentionally to fight on the front lines.

William Penrose- 1942 - 1957(The Scarlet Claw)

Leslie Fox- 1957-1963(Seaway)

Dan Cooper - 1963 - 1968 (Dan Cooper)

Perry Pleaser-1968-1979(Jacob Two Two)A parody of Pierre Trudeau.

Gary Cody - 1979 - 1980 (Marvel Comics)

Jean-Jacques Charles-1980-1984(A Very Political Lady)

Charles Sarveux-1984-1993(Night Probe)

Scotty Gutenberg-1993(Marvel Comics)

April McTavish-1993(Party Favours)

Clark MacDonald-1993-1999(Canadian Bacon)

Terrence Dallaire-1999-2003 (The West Wing)

McLaughlin/Salem Takreti-2003(South Park)(Takreti is a Fictional Character from a book written by Saddam Hussein, here he takes Saddam's role in the South Park episode Christmas in Canada, where he has secretly taken over Canada before being defeated. here Mclaughlin is his puppet before his death).

Tom McLaughlin - 2003 - 2006 (H2O, The Trojan Horse)(Succeeds his father, due largely to his rising popularity as a result of the death).

Stephen "Canadian President" Abootman-2006-2015(South Park)(Here two South Park leaders have been composited, both with a resemblance to each other. Killed by Herbert Garrison).

Bowman-2015-2016(London has Fallen)(one of the world leaders killed during the events of the film).

Naheed Nenshi-2016-????(Quantum Night)

Mexico

Still a work in progress.

I think J.J McCullough could be added as advisor for canada IF you are doinh a modern day setting as he is a pollitical commentator and could be an interesting addition

Fictional characters are preferred but some exceptions could be allowed. For example Stephen Colbert(The character he's playing, not the Comedian himself).
