Your challenge is to have a continuing MUghal Empire today. AN unbroken line from Babur till today preferable, a constitutional monarchy desirable.

My take

Aurangzeb spends less time in various wars against the Persians, the South, Tibet, Burma etc and concentrates on consolidating his rule. Fatwa-e-Alamgiri* is promulgated giving India one legal code as it historically was. The Mughal's contiue efforts into gunnery and they don't fall far behind the Europeans and the Persians which ruined them. With most of the Administrative machinary still intac having not been uproutedt, the Mughals rule remains effective throughout the eighteenth century.H

How would the empire fare in the Napoleonic Wars if at all. In the 19th century? WWI and WWII?

*Inspite of the name, Fatwa-e-Alamgiri did not contain just muslim law, it also had provisions for non-muslims
