Harsher Treaties of Versailles

Presuming that either the war against Britain went better for the Allies (Spain, France, Portugal), is it at all possible that the French could regain even more of their former Empire? Is it possible for France to regain Quebec and possibly Acadia at the end of the war? If so, what possible impact could that have on the development of the nascent United States?

France has much, much better things to worry about than British North American possessions. And there aren't too many Acadians left in Acadia at this point. America could potentially, (but unlikely) gain Upper Canada... but Lower Canada isn't going anywhere.

For France to even claim Québec, you must had a conquest of Canada by American-French troops, meaning a much heavier involvement of the French. It would bring an even higher burden on the already scarce royal finances. In line with the French policy of the all century, securing the West indies sugar islands was seen as a much valuable war goal.
