Hardline Polish Coup in 1989: Who Leads it?

Hey. I'm currently writing up the outlines of a TL where a hard-line coup is attempted against Jaruzelski after the Round Table Agreement. Obviously that would fail, but who would lead such a coup government if it were attempted.

It's hard to say. Jaruzelski and his followers (Kiszczak and Siwicki) had a full control over army and security forces. Popularity of the PZPR (Polish communist party) was all time low, although AFAIK the Solidarity was not that strong as many people believe. Anyway until 1988 Jaruzelski removed all potential opponents from the Political Bureau and after 1988 the conservatives lost remains of power they had. So if you want a hardliners coup, it must happen earlier, because they would not try it without at least some hope for success.
A candidate for a leader? Perhaps general Józef Baryła, former leader of the Main Political Directorate of the Polish People's Army. However I do not know what influence he had among the army, which was not fond of political officers. Jaruzelski was one too, but earlier he had served in combat units (including recon unit during the WW2).
In short, hardliners might try, but with no chance of success. Their attempt might even streghten Jaruzelski's position, assuming he survives. But with Kiszczak and Siwicki (security and military) strongly behind Jaruzelski, chances are minimal and even hardliners would know it.

A few information about general Baryła, then, they might be useful. They are mostly from Polish Wiki, but I couldn't find a better source on line.
Born in 1924 (so he is 65 in 1989), served in Polish People's Army (Ludowe Wojsko Polskie - LWP) since 1945, originally in artillery, since 1949 as political officer. Chief of Main Political Directorate of LWP in 1980-1986, member of Military Council of National Salvation (WRON), member of the Central Comitee of PZPR (Polish communist party) in 1982-1988, member of the Politcal Bureau in 1986-1988, removed from PB in 1988 (when Jaruzelski decided to start talking to the Solidarity), sent as an ambassador to to Syria
Sorry. I didn't noice that fact earlier. But it is possible to keep him in Poland and closer to power; perhaps he manages to deceive Jaruzelski that he might agree to talks with the opposition, while in true he would be preparing a coup. It would be a failure, IMO, but hey, who knows?

Ok thanks. I started writing today. I already have 4 pages written for it. I want to make sure I have it fully fleshed out and written before publishing here, lest it turn out like my first TL, with writers block/life blocking me from keeping it going.

Additional question:

Does anyone know who the head of the Polish Secret Police (the Sluzba Bezpieczenstwa) was?

It it's important for the TL that I'm writing. I've got 18 pages written thus far.

Notice however that in late 1980s general Czesław Kiszczak Minister of Internal Affairs) seemed to have all special services firmly in hand. Kiszczak himself originally served in Military Internal Service (Wojskowa Służba Wewnętrzna - WSW), just like general Dankowski, so it seems he put his trusted man as SB chief.

Do you can read in Polish?

gen. bryg. Władysław Ciastoń (25 November 1981 – 19 Decem,ber 1986 r.)
gen. bryg. Henryk Dankowski (20 December 1986 r. – 31 October 1989 r.)
płk Jerzy Karpacz (1 November 1989 r. – 11 May 1990 r.)

Thank you guys. You're helping me out a lot.
