Hannibal wins Zama?

Scipio Africanus is shot off his horse by an errant arrow at Zama, he dies within a minute. Panic ensues in the Roman army and the left flank breaks after Hannibal orders an attack there (in light of the new wild card). The Carthaginian army swirls behind the Roman forces and drives them back to the sea, Hannibal harrassing them the whole way. The war ends with the Romans handing the carthaginians their half of sicily (lost after the first war) and the western half of Sardinia.

How would the (almost certain) third punic war turn out? would there be a fourth? and how would subsequent events in Europe take place?

I think the Romans still win, maybe a little longer, but the 3rd Punic War was more of an excuse to finish off the Carthaginians.

Winning Zama was just the icing on the cake for Rome. It's too late in the Second Punic War for Carthage to pull a win against the Roman Republic, I'm afraid. Rome has already captured Carthaginian lands in Iberia at this stage and if Scipio Africanus is defeated, the Romans will just send another army or encourage the Numidians to invade Carthage.

It'd shake up Rome's gameplan, but there's no way at that point in the war that Carthage could win concessions, especially half of Sicily, from Rome. Most likely scenario is that Rome and Carthage agree to a peace that sees Carthage lose its Iberian possessions and pay an indemnity (probably around the First Punic War levels rather than the Second), and possibly some limits to the army and further restrictions to the navy, depending on the scenario.

What's interesting is what Hannibal does in this scenario. He's got a lot of options, and not all of them are fleeing from angry Carthaginian oligarchs - he could have more success ITTL as a politician, or he could overthrow the Carthaginian government (which could start a really early third war, which would be pretty interesting... hmm...). Lot of things could happen.
