Blood and Diplomacy

Frederick, the young son of Frederick the Fair would survive and his wife Isabella of Aragon would bear another daughter named Agnes (1322), who will be the peace offering for Henry XV of Bavaria.

George/Yuriy of Lutsk would survive in 1321 in Lithuanian Captivity after losing and marries Aldona of Bohemia as a condition of his own release.

Leo II died, together with his brother Andrew, in 1323, but there is disagreement over whether they were battling the Mongol-Tatars, and over whether the deaths occurred while defending Pidliashia or Berestia, regardless of the detail, Yuriy of Lutsk and his wife, Aldona of Lithuania would be King and Queen of Halich-Volyn

The marriage of George or Yuriy of Halych would end the planned Polish-Lithuanian marriage plans as Aldona was once betrothed to Prince Casimir and an alliance between the Galicians and Lithuanians which would guarantee the survival of the Galician state in the long term, the jilting of alliance would cause the Poles to look to the Austrians and the Dowager Queen of Poland and Bohemia.

Casimir III would marry Agnes of Bohemia for Lokietek to ally with Dowager Queen Elizabeth Richeza and Bolko II of Swidnica-Jawor was married to Anna of Austria in order to create a Habsburg-Polish alliance, Andrew of Galicia would continue to be allied with the Poles due to him being nephew of Wladyslaw the Elbowhigh, the two ladies were married after the marriage plans was discussed in 1324 but in the case of Anna, the marriage would have to wait until 1330, another marriage was arranged between Eric Christoffersen and Princess Jadwiga of Poland, a marriage that would create an alliance between Poland and Denmark in both Blood and diplomacy.

Agnes of Bohemia would have numerous surviving children with Casimir III namely Elizabeth of Poland (1325), Richeza of Poland(1328), Wladyslaw of Poland(1330), Jadwiga of Poland(1332), Boleslaw of Poland(1336).

The rise of Yuriy II
The rise of Yuriy II

Due to the marriage of Yuriy of Lutsk as Yuriy II and him being friendly with Lithuania, Halych and Volhynia would be allied with Lithuania and also with Mazovia which would have dynastic bonds with both Lithuania and Volhynia and would cause Poland to focus its strength to the West and not to the East which is Galicia and Volhynia or rather Halych-Volyn, Aldona of Lithuania would produce two sons named Lev(1325) and Andrej(1333) and a daughter named Maria(1329).

Yuriy II would focus on trade with Poland on Peremyshl area and in the north where is his alliance with Lithuania is while his boyars would run the affairs in the period between 1323 to 1330 and he would be considered to be a weak ruler at that time but he would strengthen his rule as time as time comes against the Poles who would want to undermine his rule.

Yuriy II would arrange a betrothal between his son, Lev and Elizabeth of Luxembourg, the youngest daughter of John I of Bohemia while for peace with Hungary betrothal between Maria of Halych and Louis of Hungary was made and Maria was sent to Hungary for her to learn more about her future husband on 1339 when she was 10 years old.
