Habsburg Extiction

Lets say that the Habsburg monarchy goes completely extinct in 1740, either both Maire Theresa and Maire Anna dies in childhood, nobody signs the Pragmatic Sanction of 1713 or something that prevents the House of Habsburg-Lorraine from coming to power. Who inherits the Habsburg lands?

In the first case the Saxons Wettins would have the strongest claim, since Augustus III is married to Maria Josepha (Joseph I's eldest daughter)

Habsburg did become completely extinct in 1780. The house of Habsburg today is not really Habsburg, but the house of Lorraine.

The house of Habsburg Lorraine is about as Habsburg as the House of Tudor is Plantagenet.

I am aware of this, my question is if Habsburg-Lorraine for some reason couldn't claim the succession or didn't exist who inherit the Habsburg lands.

It would either go with Saxony, whose elector Joseph I's eldest daughter, or to OTL Charles, who was married to Joseph I's younger daughter.

If Karl VI die without children both the Pragmatic Sanction and the precedent agreement wanted by Emperor Leopold I named Maria Josepha of Austria, elder daughter of Joseph I and wife of the Elector of Saxony as heiress of all Habsburg's lands
