Habsburg England

Supposing Mary Tudor-Habsburg dies in childbirth in early 1555 (in OTL a false pregnancy), Philip was declared regent by an earlier bill of Parliament and rules via Jure Uxoris. What becomes of England? Does he marry Elizabeth and if so what sorts of children might they have? Does the Church in England continue to evolve in a unique direction? And could Philip still try to lay claim to France via a marriage to Elizabeth Valois?

*Note: should the last point happen with successful claims on England and France being enforced and a son emerge, said child could inherit England, France, the Low Countries, Spain, Portugal, and much or all of Italy outside of Venice itself along with the colonial empires of all of the above and a claim on the Kingdom of Jerusalem itself...

Philip & Mary's kid inherits England & the English Empire (such as it was) plus the Spanish holdings in the Low Countries, as per their marriage contract.

If Mary dies on schedule, or in childbed, it's unlikely Parliament will install Philip as regent, most likely if they do, the English crown will be losing a lot of power very quickly (because they will be putting all sorts of restrictions on him) and most likely insist on Liz as de facto regent, even if Philip is de jure.

As for Élisabeth de Valois - she'd most likely marry D. Carlos if he's still available, since one of the matches Philip considered for his son and heir was with Elizabeth Tudor/Mary, Queen of Scots. If D. Carlos is unavailable due to either marriage taking place, Philip marries her himself and any son they have takes the position in the Spanish line of succession after Carlos (Philip and Mary's kid wouldn't be included AFAIR). However, Élisabeth had two boys OTL - one in 1561 and another pregnancy (1564?) - of whom both were stillborn/miscarried, the one actually miscarried so badly she nearly died.

The idea of a Habsburg France IDK how plausible it would be - since the only sticking point that the French had with accepting Henri of Navarre as heir, was his Protestantism IIRC. France will not accept being ruled from Madrid, so I don't think that in a toss up between Élisabeth de Valois' hypothetical son and Henri of Navarre, Navarre's got the fact that he was (jure sanguinis) French, he was related closely to the Valois but most importantly that he is the next Salic claimant, on his side.

Philip was already installed as regent by Parliament during Mary's false pregnancy in OTL, that was one of the points that I thought made the timeline interesting. A Habsburg France would be plausible by way of marriage and his future daughter Isabella depending on circumstances, especially if the son of Philip and Mary marries Marie Elisabeth (the difference would be 15-18 years *but* she is the only child of the king) their children has a claim to the French throne. And Spanish, Portugese, English, Low Countries, (most of Italy), etc.
