Greatest Canada Post-1815 without it being a wank?

What if the strongest Canada could potentially be without it being a wank?

Let's make this a post treaty of Ghent discussion as well. No big land grabs from the war of 1812.

Alaska, the Oregon Territory pushing the border down to the 47th Parallel rather than the 49th, and then the deciding of the Aroostook boundary dispute in Britain's favor which annexes most of Maine into British hands.

That's the most realistically larger Canada I can think of.

Pretty much, although I think you could manage to push the border in Oregon down to the Columbia.

If you flip the ACW around to make it a Northern succession you might be able to get a Canadian New England.

Now see, that's a wank--New England had more people than Canada until the 20th century, and post-Treaty of Ghent I don't see any of Canada, the UK, or New England wanting such a thing.

Are you talking about the Columbia River? Its the border between Washington and Oregon. Are you thinking occupying Northern California as far south as San Fransisco?
The river, yeah, which was one of the proposed lines of partition IOTL. All the way down to the Bay Area is very much a wank, assuming the British even fold the region into Canada instead of splitting it off into its own thing.

You can also potentially give them the Caribbean, a number of the Islands there had sought to join Canada but failed, the closest being Berumeda. Adding to this is St.Pierre and Miquolin could join Canada.

True, I tend to forget about those. I need to do more research on it, but it was a big deal for Borden at Versailles historically from what I remember.
