Aneurin Bevan

Survives a brian tumour operation and is elected leader of the Labour Party in 1963 leading them to victory in 1964 with a working majority. Chacellor Wilson Devalues the pound shortly after coming into power and the economy continues to grow despite unpopularity in the mid sixties Labour is relected in 1969
 
President Charles Dawes

Republican; elected 1920 from Illinois. In the wake of the Panic of 1923, established the Exchange and Securities Administration, which promulgated and enforced rules on trading of securities (including limits on buying on margin). These reforms were credited widely with keeping the economy reasonably stable during the Recession of 1929. His plan for rebuilding and investing in Europe in the wake of the Great War established the US as the leading creditor nation in the world at the time. Also, his second term initiative calling for repeal of Prohibition as unenforceable and a waste of taxpayers' dollars led to continued popularity of the GOP for years to come.

Known for continuing his fathers infatuation with his fathers pet project, the Navy, and finally overtaking the Royal navy while depleting the national gold reserve for it. His reign, 1928-1952, started after his father died of a heart attack while visiting troops in Austria during the Austro-Hungarian Revolutions of 1926-1931. Under his watch the empire quikly lost its place as the most powerful continental industrial power on the to Russia. He also watched over the German Stock market collapse of 1932 and the failed attempt to wage war against Russia leading to a stalemate and the German acknowledgment of Russian dominance over Eastern Europe.
