Greater Lithuianian empire

What if the Polish-Lithuanian commonwealth would have been dominated by the Lithuanian Language ? How big could the Commonwealth be ? could it be possible that Lithuania conquers the Russian Lands ? Lithuania should be a mahjor great power in this timeline.

Problem is, that Lithuania did conquer a lot of Russian lands, and their elites were Ruthenized, and later Polonized, with Lithuanian being spoken only in area roughly of modern day Lithuania. Paradoxically, I think that OTL Lithuanian conquests would have to be smaller and slower, for their elites to remain linguistically distinct. If they conquered more of Rus' it would be basically Lithuania in name only - it would be a Russian/Ruthenian state.

maybe if the lithuanians would be more popolous than they were OTL ? but this would need a much earlier POD.

such a pod would cause .. butterflies.. you know, it would be quite unlikely that with such a pod, there would be recognizable united lithuania.. any kind of peacefull union with poland would be even more unlikely

Lithuanian culture was in subordinate position. Lithuanians together with the Catholicism were importing Polish as the language of the country with stronger culture (stronger culture = more atractive language). As by few centuries after christianization of Poles, who were borrows from Bohemia a lot of Old Czech vocabulary.
