OTL, despite 163 years of Danish colonialism, there's very little evidence that the Danes were ever there outside of placenames. Even during Danish rule, the English language was predominant over Danish due to the largest non-slave groups being British and Dutch. Would it be possible for there to be a larger presence of Danish plantation owners, leading to a lasting Danish cultural impact? Might it be possible for a Danish-based creole language to emerge under these conditions?
