This is a passport for People's Republics Union, a socialist countries union in my alternate timeline "Heart of Red Sun"
And there is a national structure of People's Republics Union, you can see how it controlled its subdivisions.
In an alternate reality where the production quality of television commercials is much lower...
Results of the YouGov poll taken just prior to the marriage equality referendum, showing a major drop in support for the Republican Alliance. This was the first major poll which showed the Conservative Loyalists ahead of the Alliance, and the first major poll since 2013 in which the Alliance was outpolled by a conservative party. The Alliance has suffered significant decline since the announcement of the referendum, with many voters voicing their dissatisfaction with the party's decision to force the issue.
And now one with better production quality:
This timeline sounds really intriguing. Way to leave us with a cliffhanger. I also like the austere green-on-black graphic style.
I created a template for these 6/12/16 versions of states/nations memes and called it Mirror Nations, since I don't know if it has a proper name and I can't find a template that I can use. Feel free to use it. I don't know where else to upload this so I will put this here.
Here are political party logos for a small TL I think I am going to focus on for a bit.
You have piqued my interest. Pray continue.
Here is a post for only one of the parties, however it does provide some context to other events.
EDIT: Criticism and opinion is welcome, It's my first written A.H. piece.
Ok, apart from the fact that all TLs with a republican Britain need to be cleansed with fire, that was...interesting.
A mixed group of Free State and Transvaal Boers of the Senekal Commando and the Bloemhof Commando under the nominal command of C.R. de Wet beat the British 12th Lancers to the Paardeberg drift at the banks of the Modder River in February 1900. By winning the race to the drift and securing an unopposed crossing for the Free State and Transvaal commandos under Piet Cronje, the Boer vanguard at Paardeberg drift averts the encirclement and entrapment of the entire Boer force on the Western Frontier, which regroups to establish a defensive line at the Orange River well before the arrival of the British advance under Lord Roberts.
100 Soviet Rubles with Taras Shevchenko
IOTL in the last months of the USSR, there were projects of refusing to place Lenin on money and replace it with cultural figures of the republics. Here is what the head of the USSR State Bank Gerashchenko says:
"At that time, we had plans for issuing new bills with portraits of writers or military leaders representing different republics. In order to strengthen the Union. They would have placed Shevchenko and Khmelnitsky in addition to Pushkin and Suvorov. So that cash would support the unity of the country."
Minister of Finance, and then Prime Minister of the USSR Pavlov:
"At the first, preliminary stage of development and creation of money, we worked on the idea of drawings on banknotes. They used two directions: historical and literature. In other words, they decided to draw portraits of Pushkin, Tchaikovsky, Shevchenko, Nizami, Rustaveli and all of honored national historical events. This question has always caused difficulties, because it was necessary to observe national equality. "
