From the official main thread:
2018 South Carolina Senate election
From the TTDN:
Let me guess:
The Republicans never forget a slight,
The Democratics are a bunch of cocks,
The Progressives are obsessed with peepees,
The Libertarians would sell Liberty
...if their brother hadn't done so already.
I'd just like to say that this is absolutely amazing.
And four smaller parties:
Just a little something in my alternate USA timeline.
Thank you! Coming from you, with your great pixel art, that’s high praise
Google translate has proven to be unreliable here.
"Tijd om nu te laat te handelen" is read as: It is time to act too late. The proper construction would be something like this: "Het is tijd voor actie, voordat het te laat is!"
The German and French one are also definitely off for the second part, but i leave it to the native speakers too offer the correct constructions. Spanish I can't judge.
Also "Stemmen" is amongst others the imperative plural form. That is not impossible here, but it just sounds plain rude in Dutch. Better to use the singular form "Stem!"
My feeling is that this is also the case here for the German and French. German would be better : "Wählt!" and French: "Votez!" Looking at some spanish election posters I see there: "Vota"
That is indeed correct. "Wählen!" sounds like a command by your superior officer in the Army. "Wählt!" would be more likely indeed.
@Gonzo Apparently we started an party together in some timeline...
Oh my Lord its beautiful.
My first attempt at a TV graphic.
The background came out a bit psychedelic, but I think it's a choice a news network could plausibly make.
In OTL, METALLICA and DIO went on a mini-tour through Europe in May 1990.
In one of my TLs, I decided to let them play also in East Berlin, GDR (as KREATOR, SABBAT [UK], TANKARD and CORONER did in March the same year in OTL) and to let them play in Budapest instead of Paris.
Here are the posters for these shows:
(unfortunately I had to upload a .jpg-version, because the .png was "too large")
From the TTDN:
Here's some more Communist Emblem designs I've tinkered with in Flag Maker, playing with what I can fit within the Red Star:
Separate names with a comma.
