There's a famous story about President Grant being caught speeding in a buggy as President; I think in 1869, but I'm nto sure. A policeman originally was going to let him go, but Grant insisted he do his duty and write a ticket. Grant later sent a public commendation to the officer.

I don't know if this slowed him down any, but let's say it doesn't, or the officer is in a different area, and so Grant doens't start to think think twice acout doing it. And, he dies in an accident later in his first term.
