Yeah. What if SEGA owned Pokémon instead of Nintendo?

Game Freak tries to Pitch Their Capsule Monsters idea to Nintendo but they don't understand the idea.
thus leaves Game Freak Frustrated.
In 1991:
Game Freak also tried to pitch their Capsule Monsters idea to SEGA, tom kalinske accepted the offer but reminds them that Capsule Monsters is a Trademarked idea so Game Freak had to change it to Pocket Monsters later abbreviated to "Pokémon", SEGA also reminds Game Freak that Pokémon will be only released for SEGA Handhelds (Such as SEGA Game Gear) due to Genesis lacking the Trading idea.
In 1992:
Pocket Monsters Red and Green was first released on Japan for SEGA Game Gear on 1992 while American fans has to wait until 1993.
In 1993:
Pokémon Red and Blue was first released in United States for SEGA Game Gear while Sonic CD was first Released on SEGA CD.
In 1994:
Pokémon gold and silver was still teased for SEGA Nomad but in a different way.
