WI Germans developed useful and reliable AT rifle? They had some but were tricky to use and unpopular.
Let's say they develop something that works but isn't produced in enough numbers to have real effect on battlefield. Some more tanks are knocked out but overall results are same.
IMO the biggest effects would be post-war doctrine. British realise tanks are vulnerable. heavier armor earlier, leading to better tanks (more armor -> heavier, need to develop new, stronger engines, once you have that possibilities abound).
What about Germans? They realise tanks can be stopped relatively easily. Different doctrine as deep penetrations are seen as to vulnerable? Or better means for armor/infantry cooperation (more half tracks)? Different desgns, earlier Schürzen?
