Gold and silver discovery in Angola in the 17th century

What if, in the early XVII century, Portugal had discovered gold alluviums and silver mines in Angolan territory?

Note: the colonization of Angola by Portugal began in 1575, Portugal even established a system of captaincies, there were kingdoms in the region, Kingdom of Congo and Kingdom of Ndongo and there is actually gold and silver in Angolan territory.
And that would be 100 years earlier than the discovery of gold in Brazil.

Aren't the gold fields in Angola smaller than in Brazil, lower quality, and more difficult to reach than Brazil? So there's probably nothing like an Angolan equivalent of Ouro Preto.

The real wealth would be in diamonds (also found in Brazil), which would lead the Portuguese south into modern Namibia and Botswana, where there's even more diamonds (plus some gold too). And if they get that far inland, there's a lot more reason to set up shop at the Cape since it's one of the best ports in the region.
