The Queen awakened in her bed, and found her son, Prince Albert Edward of Wales, and grandson Kaiser Wilhelm II of Germany at her bedside. It seemed that they were worried for her health. The sordid affair was forgotten as the Queen slowly recovered, and it was announced that she had partially recovered.

Great Britain and Japan sign into being the Anglo-Japanese Alliance

Victoria, pleased with her grandson's care for her, announces that she does not support any sort of Entente with France, causing the Prime Minister to reconsider his position on it, fearing the populace might lose confidence in his government, due to the lack of royal support.
The Russo-Japanese War commences, causing fears that Britain might join the war if France joined their ally Russia, and so hastily sign an Alliance with Germany.
1905
The end of the Russo-Japanese War occurs, resulting in the formalization of Japan on the Kurils and the southern half of Sakhalin.
The Russians, wary of the alliance of Britain, Germany, Japan and Austria-Hungary, seeks out separate treaties with Italy, in an effort to pull them out of the Triple Alliance, The Ottoman Empire, Bulgaria, Rumania, China and Denmark

Following the Balkan Wars, the Ottoman Empire lost most of their European Territory, a fact not helped by the knowledge that their uneasy ally, Russia was sympathetic to Bulgaria, Serbia and Greece.
