Maybe this is a good time for one of my holiday snaps of last year
It's a bit dark, but all that area beyond the tower is parkland, and the area in front (which I'm standing on) is museums. The Marine Nationale museum is tall enough to risk being hit before the tower if the terrorists fly in from this direction.
