"The Very Fate Of WCW...Is In My Hands."
- Vince McMahon 3/26/01
The wrestling world had changed since 2001, not only were two of the WWF's rivals were dead but Vince was looking to split the WWF into two different brands. RAW, the flagship monday night show that started in 1993 and the main show to go head to head to WCW with it's Nitro, and Smackdown, created 4 years prior in 1999 based of WWF wrestler The Rock's catchphrase. McMahon would lead the Smackdown brand while "Co-Owner" Nature Boy Ric Flair would lead the RAW brand, but in order to have two different brands they needed a draft...

Hosts: Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler

Match:
Tazz def. Mr. Perfect via submission

Smackdown wins the coin toss so Vince McMahon makes his way to the ring and announces his number one pick. "The Rock." Vince is happy with himself until he hears "If Ya Smell!" and the rock comes out.

Vince basically tells Rock his catchphrases, such as sticking things in candy asses and saying it doesn't matter isn't going to fly anymore. Rock runs down his career on RAW, including shoving Vince McMahon's face in Rikishi's ass (which actually happened on Smackdown) before coming up with a chant based of "WE ARE... PENN STATE!" but it's "YOU ARE... AN ASSHOLE!" Rock walks off to cheers while we cut to the back to see Flair making his way to the ring before the break. Ric Flair makes his way out and announces his pick which is The Undertaker who doesn't seem to happy with it.

We cut to Vince who isn't happy as well and is arguing with Kurt Angle when Undertaker storms in and starts bitching at McMahon.

Match:
Booker T and Christian def. DDP and Edge

Vince is in his office and picks Kurt who was upset he wasn't Vince's first pick, we then cut back to Flair at the podium who announces his second pick. "Brock Lesnar." JR mentions how relatively new Brock is while Jerry blasts Flair as a moron. Vince laughs as he sees this and quickly makes a third pick, the inactive Chris Benoit.

Match:
Trish Stratus def. Ivory

We cut back to the stage where Flair makes his way out and announces his third pick, "Hollywood Hulk Hogan."

Megafighter3: WWF Draft pt 2
Part 2

Vince McMahon makes his fourth pick making a surprise pick in the form of Booker T.

Match: The nWo (Kevin Nash/Scott Hall/X-Pac) d. Hulk Hogan/The Rock

Already drafted onto separate shows, neither man has an easy time working together, Rock taking the Jacknife Powerbomb. As the trio are celebrating, Ric Flair steps out and makes an announcement that the nWo are his next three picks in the draft, covering numbers 4-6, much to Vince's dismay. Flair wants to make sure that the nWo are under his watch and won't be trying to dismantle the RAW brand under Vince's orders.

Vince is stunned and furious, but immediately announces his picks for 5-7, European Champion William Regal and tag champions Billy Gunn and Chuck Palumbo.

Flair, just before the next match, announces his seventh pick, Mr. Perfect.

Match: Jeff Hardy d. Billy Gunn

Vince announces a strange pick for number eight, going with Rikishi. Flair responds by giving his eighth and ninth picks, Bubba and D-Von but before he can add Spike, Vince impulsively declares Spike Dudley to be his #9 pick. Ric shrugs and let's Vince have it his way.

Match: Rob Van Dam d. Kurt Angle (DQ)

After the match, Van Dam is upset, but is given the good news that he is Ric's #10 pick for RAW, Vince saying that he's saving his #10 pick for the end of the night.

Match: Triple H d. Chris Jericho (w/Stephanie) for the WWF Undisputed Title

Triple H keeps his belt and remains the man on top as Vince swaggers out and announces his final pick for the night's draft, pointing to Chris Jericho. "Welcome to SmackDown, Jericho!"
