Germany makes alliance with Russia its priority, how ambitious will Russia become?

Russo-German alliance would be *good* for Austria-Hungary's longevity compared to OTL

The UK will not be as neutral as in OTL, the majority of the people here are thinking that Britain will just watch quietly Germany and Russia grab the entire Europe, but I doubt that.

If there is a Russo-German alliance, and Austria-Hungary realizes it needs to concede the Balkans ["it's Russia's world, we're just livin' in it"] is basically neutralized and not seen as an active force opposing Russia, Russia might tolerate its occupation and/or annexation of one distant fringe territory - Bosnia. In OTL it did not protest Austrian occupation of Bosnia in 1878. When it backed Serb protests against the Bosnian annexation of 1908, that was after 29 years of an Austro-German defensive alliance clearly oriented towards Russia.

Two questions - If in 1875 or 1876, Germany offered to Russia the defensive alliance terms it later offered to Austria in 1879, would the Russians have accepted at that time? Why or why not?

What if after the Berlin Conference, at which Russia got upset about Germany, Germany chose not to form an alliance with Austria in 1879. Instead it lays low and quietly initiates discussions about a defensive alliance in 1880, including a proviso about never opposing Russian claims on Ottoman territory in the future, would the Russians have accepted? Why or why not?
