Germany goes purely on the Defensive 1941 winter

Hitler dies before June 22nd 1941, although much of German Military leadership thought Barbarossa would work, Hitler just ignored possible issues even when brought up, Someone else in charge is probably less of a risk taker. 90% odds Barbarossa doesn't happen.

Hitler dies before mid August 1941, likely attack on Moscow continued, vs shift to south+north, lots of debate on the forums on how that turns out, However I could see a peace deal happening in this scenario, if the new German leadership doesn't like the awful casualties happening, and don't have the political stake in it like Hitler did and could be generous. i.e something like Soviets have to go back to their pre war boundaries i.e. August 1939. The Germans evacuating areas in exchange for shipments of oil, metals, cotton, etc.

Hitler dies before October 41, some chance Typhoon doesn't happen although Military leadership seemed all in on it, so probably happens anyway, all the way until December. Unless a peace deal reached.

December 41, New German leadership isn't going to DOW USA, USA may anyway though themselves, No peace deal with Soviets possible now.

I am still not convinced that the majority was Pro Hittler or Pro Nazi. Keep in mind that Hittler himself didn’t get elected by the people to anything. Add in that I doubt that everyone voted in Germany anymore then everyone votes in any country, so you will have some folks that just plan didn’t vote.
So you have those that always opposed Hittle/the Nazi and voted as such
plus those that
Opposed the Nazi but didn’t bother to vote to begin with.
Then you have those that opposed the war on general principles. And thus Turned against the Nazi after the war started.
Then we add in those few that eventually learned what the Nazis were doing in the Concentration camps. And thus turned Anti Nazi
Then we have those that got drafted or who’s family members got killed.
Then we have those who had thier homes destroyed or thier families killed or wounded in the war and just want the war stopped

And the list goes on and on.
But the key point is that the Nazis where for the most part the stronger of several parties and managed to use that to gain power and influence. Note I am not saying they didn’t have the backing of a LOT of Germans. And the probably had the backing of most but most just means 50+%. I think it is a bit of a fallacy that 90% of Germans were Pro Nazi or Pro Hittler at any moment. And the percentage went down every time the Nazi did something, or the war went worse for them.
Then add in the folks that won’t resist the government for various reasons and I think you could easily see a coup after Hittler has a heart attack in 1941.
