How would the Germanization of annexed territories in an Axis Victory in world war 2 go
Would the Germanization of Germanic groups like the Dutch,Danish, and Norwegians be easier
How much of the Population could identify with Germany and/or as German by Modern times
IIRC it was'nt "planned" by Hitler/Himmler to actually "germanize" these countries. ... or even fully intergrate them into the 'Greater German Empire" proper (
aside the sillynesses of Himmler with his resurrection of a burgundian state or similar idioties) aka Germany, Austria, Alsac-Lorraine, Sudeten and 'gained' parts of Poland.
Himmler did not want to 'turn' the populations of these countries/states.
He rather wanted to 'extract' the elemts he wanted to integrate them into his supranational 'NewGermanic' SS-state. A state in the concept of the organization of the SS "affording" itself a country (all of Europe from Atlantic to the Ural) to 'care' fore.
Being puppetized states/countires in the orbit of the german "sun" (or rather 'black sun ??) the proper german language would become possibly the general 2nd language (
rather easily for the pupils in the aforementioned states due to preexisting 'language-familiarity') to be learned at school. After an Axis-Victory german as a language would worldwide become almost by default a much more 'spread', language similar to russian in the Warsaw Pact states ... or engish in the US...erhmm NATO states.
No need for whatever 'forcing' measures.
German culture - again due to 'obvious' supremacy - would become kinda 'guiding culture' like Coca-Cola in the "west" and Soljanka in the "east" IOTL. ... instead "Bratwurst", black-bread and true beer (not this american Budweiser pi.. ).
Also : No need for whatever 'forcing' measures.
