Right, so the general consensus is that Hitler will remain in the army, not likely to advance in rank very much due to his obvious problems with power and command. He will begin to lose his marbles in the 40's, when he will likely be retired from service. He'll probably end his days living of his pension in Austria (assuming Anschluss) or Bavaria.
After the Great War, he'll probably see action in Russia during the Civil War. This will hardly do anything for his opinion towards Reds. He may be part of a peace-keeping force to Austria-Hungary if it falls apart, and will support a German annexation of Austria and/or the Studentland.
