As of recently I've gained a bit of an interest in Imperial German influence in Mexico prior to and during World War One. While I understand that Germany was most interested in attempting to get Mexican aggression to distract the US from the war in Europe I find it plausible that positive German-Mexican relations continue after a Central Powers victory. Could this German sphere of influence expand elsewhere in the Americas? Obviously the United States (which would be neutral in WEI in such a scenario) wouldn't like to have a German ally just to their south, which would violate the Monroe Doctrine, so how does the US retaliate. I personally enjoy the idea of the WWII of this scenario being primarily fought in the Americas between a German-led coalition and an American-led coalition.
