What if the Germans discovered the principle of the directional blast earlier, allowing for AT and AP claymore type mines?

Obviously it would be a tremendous defensive weapon, especially on the Eastern Front, but would it make the Germans better able to stand up to the Russians?

Problems there are that they're still only good once (not much use against human wave tactics), German logistics in Russia were so screwed that they'd never get to where they were needed in time, Hitler would never authorize use of defensive weaponry like that when the Heer is supposed to be on the offensive, and lastly, when did the Nazi High Command start allowing Speer to produce effective weaponry of reasonable design when there was some ridiculous boondoggle to be built for no military purpose?
