One thing that has always struck me about Germany's invation of France is how much the army despritly need a mother level of control between HOL and the versus army's so I have some questions for you all here.
1. What would it take for Germany to create army groups be for ww1, dosnt seem like its that much of a leap like creating corps out of divisions of army's out of corps.
2. How would they be used, 1-3 as army groups nord or right, 4-5 as army group center, and 6-7 as army group south or left seems most likely to me.
3. Who would lead this army groups, hopefully not kluk or bülow for army group nord or the crown prince for center even if they are the most likely canadits from what I can see.
4. How much would this actually help early in the war, what happened in the war whith 2ed army controlling 1st and 3ed and both constantly asking HOL for permission to agnor them woulnt happen here as from the beging the army groups would be in command but a also have a hard time seeing this army group doing better if bülow or kluk keep making bad desions especaly during the great British retreat.
