George Washington had two older half brothers, Lawarance and Augustine Washington, from their father's first marriage.
After their father's death they became father figures for their younger half siblings, Lawarance moreso than Augustine. Lawarance and George were particularly close and Lawarance took George on the only trip he made outside what would become The United States. George purchased Mount Vernon from Lawarance's widdow in 1752.
Lawarance and Augustine both died fairly young. Longevity it seems was not a Washington family trait.
But what if Lawarance and Augustine had both lived at least into their eighties? What further influence would either of them had on George, including in his adult years?
What role if any would either Lawarance or Augustine have had in The American Revolution?
