George Lucas’ and Steven Spielberg’s lives in a world where the Axis won

How would the lives of these two influential directors be changed in a world where America and the British Commonwealth were locked in a Cold War with the Nazis and Japanese? I imagine that Raiders of the Lost Ark could still be made but could Star Wars even be made with its Japanese influences? Would they even become directors at all?

Lucas was born in 1944, Spielberg in '46. Any POD early enough for an Axis victory casts doubt on either of them being born.

Let’s day that in spite of a nail they are still born. The POD I’m looking at is around Dunkirk in 1940.

Even if Lucas and Spielberg are born there their career would be very different. And even if they still go to movie industry, surely Star Wars and Indiana Jones would buttefly away if you then not go total butterfly massacre.

The first thing that came to mind is a Star Wars where Vader and the Heroic Empire Troops recruits Luke to help track down the Jewish rebels.

OP says the America and Britain survive and are in a cold war with the Axis.
Oh sorry.
Well in that case, The Empire has even more elements of Nazi Germany.
The Nazi Hail Solute would be common in the film and it may be that the Empire is hunting down the members of Jedi religion.
When the Storm troopers come to Tatooine, they start putting people in camps.
The Rebels would be similar to Air Force in outfits and behavior.
Most likely the movie would be shot in the US, not over sea.
And possibly more Americans cast in place of British Actors.

Tatooine would probably be called Utapau, since that was the original name for it before Lucas renamed the desert planet after the real-world desert town where he was filming. Maybe Italy wouldn't mind some American filmmaker shooting a movie in their Tunisian protectorate?

We should remember that Star Wars was the saga that wasn't supposed to happen. Lucas wanted to do Flash Gordon with the latest modern special effects, but he couldn't get the license to do so. In 1974, a pornographic spoof called "Flesh Gordon" was released, likely causing the holders of the intellectual property to be overly cautious. Lucas had to scurry for a story line, as Darth Vader was not identified as father of Luke and Leia until the second film. Like Star Wars, Flash Gordon featured a princess, a desert world, a jungle world, an ice world and a floating city complex. In many ways, he stole the thunder from any future attempts to modernize Flash Gordon. In an ATL, it is highly speculative that the OTL stories would remain intact. Lucas and Spielberg would work with the material that was on the table in the seventies, Flash Gordon included.
