In 1939 Georg Elser attempted to assassinate Hitler in Bürgerbräukeller. Hitler had already ordered the invasion of Poland at this point and it had been occupied by both the Soviets and Germany.
The reason this plot was unsuccessful was due to Hitler catching a train rather than a plane due to fog, and so he had to catch the train earlier, and so missing the explosion by 13 minutes.
But WI on 8 November 1939 the weather by Berlin had been clear, and so Hitler stayed longer for his speech. As he badgered on about how 'incompetent' Britain was and all that what if at 21:20 a massive explosion wen of behind him. It ripped through his body and killed and wounded the same amount as in OTL.
This of course would change the war as to whether the Germans could win, or if they still lose how long could they hold out for? Who'd be the next Führer and Reichskanzler of Germany? Please discuss, I'm not an expert on this period of history but I enjoy reading comments. (I know this scenario has probably been done many times but I'd like to discuss it anew.)
