Geopolitics if China and India positions are switched

Say China and India economic situations are reversed with India being the world's second largest economy with China being the relatively poor but rapidly growing power.

What would be the geopolitical impact of this.

How would this affect relations between the World powers.

For one, the US would have more amicable relations with China and Pakistan, while relations with India would be more similar to those during the cold war, that is, something more like a frenemy.
India and Russia would probably be much closer, while China would probably play both sides to get the most out of it.
Also expect India and the US to jockey for influence in the middle east.
Unlike China, the US has no significant naval power in India's backyard, except Diego Garcia, which can easily be neutralized during wartime. And considering the absence of other major naval powers in the Indian Ocean, there's a good chance of it becoming India's ocean. All other major powers would have also have good relations with India.
Coming to China, for it to be in India's state now would have to mean that reforms do happen, but later. In that case china is viewed as how it was during the late 2000s/early 2010s. A new rising power, but not the next superpower (As India would have taken that title already).

So, China is ruled by the left-wing KMT and is friendly to the Soviet Union, while India is ruled by the Maoists [under different name], opposed to the Soviet Union? I'd say that the Soviet expenses on the military complex would be lower with no border conflicts against China, so the country would be much healthier than OTL.

India being a potential Superpower would require more PODs than China being a rapidly growing power, A Possible Scenario -
  1. India - Subhas Chandra Bose is more successful with his revolt, eventually inspiring large parts of India to revolt, leading eventually to a Undivided India under Bose's rule. Bose here would a an Ataturk-esque, being a benevolent dictator, remaining mostly neutral in Cold War with occasionally allying with USA due to Close proximity with USSR and China, he lays down a strong secular character for India with good social and economic foundation that can and will be developed upon in the future. Eventually he allows for Parties to contest elections during his twilight years like Ataturk and India has strong economic and social growth over the years under Democracy with occasional Military Coups
  2. China - Deng Xiaoping does not take power and China remains closed off to the world economy
