Gaddafi withdraws from Chad in 1986

Ghadafy shouldn't have gone there in the first place. By '86 he had already squandered a lot; Chad, for him, had become what Yemen had been for Nasser. He should've gotten out regardless of whether he could've kept the Aouzou strip.

The problem was, the FANT completely outclassed the Libyan army in Chad.
Would they and especially France want to go through the effort of pushing Libya out of both Northern Chad and the Aouzou Strip if he offered to withdraw in exchange for Chad recognizing the Aouzou Strip as Libyan. In otl Gaddafi managed to hold onto the Aouzou Strip despite losing the Toyota War due to a lack of French desire to push him out, only leaving due to an ICJ ruling.
