So we have had a lot of no Islam if then what threads recently.
The Islamic conquest began only a few years after the last Roman-Sassanid war.
If Islam is butterflied away or killed in its cradle then when would the next Byzantine-persian(not necessarily Sassanid) war be?
750? 780? 800?
What other forces could break the eternal conflict between them?
Or might one side achieve a decisive and lasting military victory over the other at any time from 750 to 1200?
