I know that this has been discussed before to some degree, but I'm just curious as to the following scenario I've been considering...

Let's say that King François I wins a decisive victory at Pavia against Imperial forces, perhaps by not leading the charge too early and using his superior cannon to a devastating degree. More specifically, this scenario is a reverse Pavia from OTL with heavy Imperial casualties: around 15,000 Imperial troops dead (the same number as French losses in OTL), along with the French capture of many Imperial and Spanish nobles (including Lannoy and d'Avalos, as well as the traitor Duc de Bourbon).

Now, what are the immediate and long term effects of this? Thoughts?
