Hey Guys,

What would happen to the French Revolution if the American Revolutionary War was a partial failure.

By a 'partial failure' I mean that the Revolution was cut short soon after a British Victory in the Saratoga Campaign and without French or Spanish support (thus no massive French debts). But this revolution allowed for Lord North to be forced to be lenient on the Colonies and be so discredited that he needed to be lenient.

Thus soon after the Revolution the 13 Colonies and the Province of Quebec are individually given separate parliaments to London, these parliaments take care of the internal issues of each colony, though defense, foreign affairs etc are still controlled from Westminster. The Parliaments are based on the Westminster parliaments and the Head of States for the two semi-dominions, semi-colonies is the Monarch of the UK (at this point George III).

How would a French Revolution go with all this in mind, would there in fact be a French Revolution or anything or the sorts?
