French King Charles VIII Doesn't Invade Italy in 1494

What if, for whatever reason, French King Charles VIII refused to invade Italy in 1494 (or later, for that matter)?

It would have huge ramifications right away. The Italian Wars were arguably one of the most significant events of European history and they were all triggered with Charles VIII's invasion. Without that invasion there are numerous butterflies. A completely different composition of Italy, for example the Neapolitan Trastamaras are not deposed. Meanwhile France is not forced to make so many concessions in regards to England and Spain over their Italian ambitions. The consequences of no invasion would be so huge. How exactly no invasion occurs though is a question that needs to be asked.
