The united states established free states and slavery states, in the new world beyond the united states the only country with slaves was the empire of Brazil

In the Empire of Brazil, slavery was legal in all provinces.

How can Brazil have free provicias and slavery provinces like the United States

The creation of free states innthe US was not something that happened suddenly but over time it's people decided that slavery was something they no longer supported. Case point New York State which only abolished slavery in 1817.

For Empire of Brazil the same thing would need to happen.

Ceará, Amazonas and Rio Grande do Sul apparently actually abolished it by 1884, 4 years earlier than the rest of the country
