Frederick the Great vs la Pompadour

Frederick the Great had earned the hate of the Pompadour, mistress of Louis XV, after ridiculing her. This is why she used her influence on the king, which helped the Diplomatic Revolution succeeding. Also, she was influential during the Seven-year war: France used too many resources against Prussia, which were lacking in North America and India then.

What if the Pompadour had never lived, or lost against another woman, or Fredrick hadn't ridiculed her? How would history change?

Would probably mean that the enlightment party would not have as much influence in the court of Louis XV, and might have made it less likely for an alliance with Prussia.
Frederick was a believer in the enlightened policies, so having an alliance with non enlightened or even a Dévot France is unlikely

But as said, in our world she drove Louis XV into an alliance against Frederick, not the opposite, enlightenment be damned.

People like Frederick, Louis or even the Pompadour don't care for ideologies if other things are at stake.
