I just dont see it possible from that first album, though audacious, it lacks anything that could have become a hit.
Now what is much more plausible is say Camarillo Brillo becoming a hit, or maybe Montana. Perhaps Uncle Remus or Cosmik Debris. Apostrophe after all did chart in the top 10 and overnight sensation also did well. By the early 70's Frank had the ability and confidence to craft any type of work he wanted. Frank always has and always will be a staple of college radio, but it was a truly enlightened AOR station that played him.
