Fourth Olympic Class Without WWI?

Or a carrier conversion.
Too slow really. Max speed was 24 knots, while her maximum sustained speed was only 22. While that's fast enough to serve as an escort carrier, she's too big for that role. And as a fleet carrier, she's 10 knots too slow to keep up with the fleet.

The US considered that with the Normandie IIRC.
Till it caught fire. ;)
The US only considered that with Normandie after she caught fire. Before that she was planned to be a troop ship.

Could this be an option if the Germans won WW1 and White Star Line lost both Titanic and Britannic? If all Olympic [or at least 2 out of 3] were lost by WW1 ending date and the Central Powers won this WW1, what will White Star do without German war reparations?

Refit the big four and make do I'd think. Money's going to be really short with reparations going the other way.

I would assume Titanic's fate would still have played out the same in this TL? That will influence the design of any Olympic-class ships after the disaster, just as it influenced Britannic OTL.

Now I want an Olympic with torpedoes and armor.

Weren't the plans for a fourth Olympic class or another large [Titanic replacement or larger than Titanic] ship after [or taken more seriously] after Titanic's loss?

So far as.ive seen there was never much talk of such a thing before the war. Brittanic was too far along to do another dual build... I'm a bit surprised there's no real records of at least considering going straight from brittanic to ship 4, but on the one hand the war started, and on the other with the changes planned for Brittanic I don't think white star was interested in another exact clone anyway... How different they would have gone through...

Now, as things happened those talks in the 20s seem to have been the first serious ones for another ship, but bear in mind that RMS Majestic was functionally brand new and perfectly suitable (and was nominally Brittanics replacement), so even after the war the triple ship weekly express service only required one more ship.
