For want of the beer

17 March 1871
France

The night is filled with lights and brim,as the empty nights lays empty-accompanied with the instability brewing on the nation. But it doesn't stop five friends to have a good drink,on a bar.The five friends,Auguste,Pierre,Georges,Jules and Charles, are workers on a Train Station.Jules,is technically their superior,as he's the Station Manager-and everyone else-are his underlings.

Entering the bar, they ate few chips, before eventually getting down with the beers.Jules, who's arleady stopped drinking beers chose to drink water instead.
"C'mon,Jules,drink!"
Auguste yelled,arleady half-drunk.
His friends continues to push him, seconds after times, minutes after minutes, but Jules,is a tough nut to be cracked.
"C'mon,Jules! Are you a woman,Jules?!"
Charles yelled.
Fine.
Jules breaks down, and drank a glass.
Two glass.
Three Glass.
Four.
Five.
Six.
Seven.
Even now,his friends are shocked, and looked at him in awe,as Jules's alcoholic side returns and gulps down the drinks.
Feeling incredibly woozy,Jules decides to return home, and he leaves his drunken friends on the bar.

Jules stumbles-alleys upon alleys, wall after walls,as-he pukes-and pukes again, fell down-and rose up again,he kept on walking. In the dark of the night, one does not simply walks around on alleys, especially when in a intoxicated state. Many murders, robberies happened to unlucky intoxicated men who's now in a state resembling Jules.

But everything comes to a full-circle.Unknown to Jules, four men, muggers that-have claimed six lives-who targeted drunken men and-(not drunken)women, have put their eyes on Jules-as they brandishes their blades.
Closer.
They crept closer behind Jules......

Artery, carotid, stomach, stomach.Jules Verroux met the end of his life on the edge of four blades, leaving his legacy-still fairly unknown.

Afternoon,March 18 1871
On a-train station,France.
Patrice MacMahon,a war hero who served France on the previous war,is released from custody-and returns to his home. But his rest ends short,as the Communards revolts virtually brought him back to the army, and forced him to depart to a Train Station, where he will head to Paris.

MacMahon arrives on the train station, which is arleady crawling with National Guards.MacMahon hoped that no one will recognize him,or a sympathetic station manager will be his saviour.

Today is your unlucky day,MacMahon.
A National Guard identified him,and arrested the man.

Thus,a beer effectively changed the face of the world.

Chapter One:Lazarus
As the National Guards takes pre-emptives to defend their rule on the government,to the point where they seized few ministries, the Blanquis take the advantage to recruit and grow more followers on the ranks of the National Guards, hoping that a total revolution could be achieved.Day by day,Millitias who believes on Blanqui's belief rose, growing in numbers. The Thiers government eventually moves to Versailles,as a security measures. After the National Guards and the Blanquists took over Paris, they seized buildings, and a huge-amount of weapons.A plebiscite eventually ends with the approval of the Paris Commune to-establish a "State" on the land.

As the Commune are firmly established, they began to impose Socialistic policies that benefited the workers-and also change things for the state, from the adoption of the Republican Calendar,to the removal of the tricolor, with a temporary red flag, signifying the state's socialistic ways. The separation of the church and the state also occurs, accompanied with a rupture on the internal government of the commune, which grow radical overtime. The women of the Commune also help,as they establish kitchens,schools,or-even managed to secure rights for the things to come in the future.

In the end,the Blanquist's active "recruitment" led into the majority of their members, and the socialists as the composition of the Commune's government, slowly painting Paris Red,losing its "Democratic" stance. In the other side,Thiers, who've amassed a army to take down the Commune, have used ex-P.O.W's and armies from other provinces to gather his own.Unknown to him,Radical Blanquist agents(aided by the Proudhons),are entering major cities,provinces-and even the army, actively inciting riots on major cities, and inciting dissent on the army, forcing Thiers to reduce the troop numbers he amassed.

Appointing Auguste Ducrot,a friend of the late Patrice McMahon,Thiers knew that he will win.In the other side, after an attack to Versailles is cancelled, the Communal government decides to train, and amass more trained millitia, day after day, time after time, knowing that the trained force on the National Guard are so low-on level. The Commune also frees millitary officers who's agreed on teaching-the inexperienced upon release. After hearing Thiers's army have marched upon Paris, the Commune decided to quickly occupies the abandoned forts. The Thiers army, realizing that the "Jumping Frog" tactic the Commune have employed have bogging them down, they returned-and retreated.

Abroad, the support for the Commune rises,as trade unions and-such groups supported their actions, with the extent where the Commune received volunteers from other nations, especially Germany. The Commune eventually captured various Religious officials, hoping that this will be their levearge against Thiers. The growing power of the Socialists eventually strenghtened, and radicalized by the formation of the Public Safety Comitee, designed to take out dissidents.Propagandas also have been made, turning the Paris commune into a loyal subject of the Commune, thanks to the suprisingly-incredible wordplay. The army also received the treatment, turning them into devoted, fanatical soldiers. It also affected the numbers of the millitia.

The National Guards initially goes full defensive,as it took time to train the inexperienced. But it was boosted, shortening the time needed after Jaroslaw Dambrowski-and the other exiles arrived at France, where they joined the commune.Having Garibaldi as the supreme commander of the commune, the Thiers government eventually launched a attack to the Issy fortress,as unknown to them, the Commune have put Dambrowski, and put strong defenses on the fortress, inflicting a heavy and humilliating defeat for General Cissey.

Knowing that a war of attrition is the only way to take down the Paris government, the espionage moves began to grow intensive, accompanied with the small victories against the Thiers government. The Commune also eventually grows authotharian,as Raul Rigaurt's Comitee have arrested and executed few dissidents and figures who speak against the communes, with experienced officers who did the offences above are rehabilitated. The arrestment of Archbishop Darboy have led to the famous "exchange",as the Thiers government finally released Blanqui, exchanged with the captured religious figures.

With Auguste Decrot's army trying to push their way back to Paris-and the appointment of Blanqui as the Communal government, the agents finally initiated major-revolts on Marseille,Gijon, and few states, causing chaos and confusion on the Thiers government, who've insisted on attacking Paris. The Parisians, pulling the tactics that Washington pulled years ago-ends victorious, after continously harrasing the advancing forces with traps, and sabotages. With Thiers grow increasingly unpopular, and the lack of the International attention on the conflict have prompted Garibaldi, who's upon second requests accepted to lead the National Guards.

Now,the National Guards, undertrained, but burning with desire and-winning in numbers, marches towards Versaillles, but the Blanquists are secretly working with the Proudhons and the far-left elements of the Socialists to work against the republican,in order to establish a strong commune on France.Unknown to the thiers government, the Commune have established meetings with the leaders of the other smaller communes on France, preparing for what to come.

Confident that this is will be the final struggle against the Thiers government,Garibaldi-and the high command of the Commune decided to storm Versailles, using the opportunity when the other much-smaller"communes" on the other cities are revolting.Marching towards Versailles, with an army comprised mostly by millitias, the Commune will face the bloodiest battle-and the battle that will change the face of the world, forever. The world, still completely oblivious to the fact that there's a rather-high chance that the Commune will win, continues their ignorance-and not pleading any support whatsoever to the possibly-dying Thiers government.

Led by Garibaldi himself, the army opened fire at the Thiers government on the night of 25 May 1871,as they jumped building-to buildings, occupying the buildings and turning them into fortresses.Thiers, who's extremely distraught and fearing for the nation's survivability-and in amidst of confusion, foolishly moved the troops supposed to guard the revolting communes on the other cities, giving the "other communes" a advantage. This, also in the other hand, greatly disadvantages the Communal army as they will struggle to fight an-equal number of highly-trained troops.

The battle turns extremely deadly,as it was clearly seen from the battle that if one of the parties won,it will be a Phyrrhic victory,as both sides are taking heavy losses. This,on the other side, also boosts the number of the Blanquists,as the other communes on france are mostly Blanquists.Day by day, losses after losses, the other Communes in the other cities are starting to follow Paris's structure-and call, for a unified revolutionary war.Knowing that there will be more reinforcement enroutes, guerilla fighters have impeded their way on the forests, reducing them into bits upon arrival on Versailles.Thiers, still stubbornly believes that the Commune will fall shortly, refused to flee to Africa-even when the facts that few officers and generals began to flee to Africa.

Eventually, everything turns bleak,as the Commune began to push forwards-and dissent have been instilled on mainland France.Mid-June,the Germans began to call the British-and other states surrounding France to discuss about the future-of France, which in the end saw that "Support" will be given to the legitimate government .But everything's too late,as the final push to the Versailles palace saw Thiers, trying to escape to Africa-but not until when he's captured, and ended up killed and paraded around Paris, days later, signifying the end of the war-for the commune, and the start of the French Civil War.

This eventually followed by a string of Anti-left attacks on other nations, which backfiringly strenghtened the support, and the awareness to the left-socialist cause. It all also toppled with the revolts caused by the Legitimate Government's increasingly repressive and brutal policies on supression-that even rivals the Commune's Public Safety Comittee-or even reaching Robespierre's Public Safety Comittee. As the revolts grow stronger-and accompanied with the strings of victories that the Commune gained, the Communards began to "design" their future,as talks for the national anthem,flag,motto,-and other policies and the aesthetical aspects of the future-nation is held. One of them are fruitful,as the official "Anthem" of the Commune-and the so-called "United Communes of France"-which will be the name of the new nation-in the future is the "Internationale",a song that signifies the fight of the worker class.

Parisians,in the other hand, are able to "rest",as now, they are able-to continue their works-a little bit. While the Legitimate government, fearing Northern France will fell into the Communards, began to make talks with the Briton figures-and politicians, with a "Puppet Britanny" government in their mind.Unfortunately, the revolution took the lives of the politicans, nationalists and figures of Britanny, effectively burning-and burying the hope for a independent Britanny.

With the republic now being taken over by the Army, the fate of the Commune are bright,as more victories, and rebellions of the citizens against the government popped out everywhere,on the French mainland.Blanqui, now wielding supreme power on the Commune, uses the advantage to spread his beliefs, further turning-and adding the blanquist number on the Commune, paving the way for the future. With Marseille and Dijon is falling down, the Foreign world finally intervenes, which proved disastrous. The Brito-Spani-German intervention eventually led to a "Treaty of Versailles",where the Commune removed its claims on EVERY overseas territories except for any islands that they own on Europe, and AlgeriaFor every colonial lands that didn't revolt-will be given to the members of the Intervention(eers),in exchange of the recognition of the Commune, and a Non-Agression pact.

Blanqui Agrees,as the colonies isn't the part of the revolution. It all coupled with Karl Marx's return to France, which eventually agitated the people-more and more-and more, day by day, time after time,as even the army now defected to the National Guards, knowing that fighting for the dying republic equals suicide. It took a year than a half, for the French Mainland to be occupied-and finally, fullfilling the Treaty,as now,the British,Germans, and Spaniards got everything they-wanted,except for Algeria.French Indochina eventually turns into the Indochinese republics, with the African rebellions are quelled by the British Empire.

As the Republican exiles are heading to America, the people are flying the red flag, and singing the internationale, and the birth of the new constiution, laws, and the restructuring of the nation began. The nation, now named as "The United Communes of France"-with Blanqui as the "Premier"-a spot which filled both the prime minister and president, and Garibaldi-now a French-and the Commune's "Supreme Army General",is born on 24th October 1872,one year and few months after the rebellion. With those who still opposed the formation of the commune meet their swift end by the Public Safety Commune, things are looking great.Georges Clemencau are appointed for the Algerian Territories.

The Arabic people themselves are rather thankful,as now, they are granted the same status,class,priveleges-and everything they didn't have in the past, with now, equality are being fiercely enforced and promoted. They are also given French nationalities, which shocks Europe.Following this,Felix Pyat establishes local "Public Safety" comitees on Algeria, headed by locals(Jamal Hameed),to enforce the Commune's rule. With Europe began to accepting them(shockingly),the Commune are now "flourishing" after those who sympathize to the cause are flocking to France, and those royalists, republicans, all given amnesty,in exile.

This also ironically lessens the other nations's pressure caused by Socialism,as the harsh terms that they imposed on the Socialists have forced them to France with any cost. The Political Structure of the Commune itself are rather questionable,as now,the "Democratic" parliament are replaced by a "Counseil",comprised mainly by the Proudhons,Socialists and the majority-Blanquists.Things are also getting better,as the Army now can "take a rest, and train themselves".The Socialism they adopted also greatly boosts the "Industry" aspect of the nation, which the results are yet to be seen.

As the Commune began its first days of Independence,French Blanquist agitators who is unrelated to the commune surprisingly started their work there, assuming Belgian identities...Still leaderless,he Belgian Communards haven't made their moves yet, unfortunately.

The Unrest on Belgium grows worse,as an act of fear(which is a blunder for Prussia-and pretty much everyone who doesn't want to see a second socialist state appearing),as they blocked and enforced a blockade, and total embargo to Belgium, causing mass unrest and famine there, allowing the agitators to yell more deadlier things,to the dissidents,as Joaquin Albenra,a former Sergeant on the army,also-a popular man on the citizens, have taken steps to be the leader of the communards,as the Royal Family's growing erratic movements(which included shooting few protester) have..angered him. Now,with a armyman on board, the Communards managed to incite a brief civil war-that only last months,as the Royal family fled to Britain.
The new nation, named as "Wallon-Flanders Communal Union",is led by Joaquin himself, which Blanqui agrees to support upon. The fate of the colonies-and projects that the previous government have enacted have effectively gone to dust,as it was taken over by Prussia-or Britain-or Portugal-or anyone who wants it.

Seeing the success on Belgium, the (Yes,this is real)Unaffiliated-with-the-French-Blanquists,after months from the Belgian Revolution, moved to Netherlands, sparking the things up there, albeit for now, they are not supported by the French State itself. The "Revolution",which started on Mid-June 1873.The Germans,Brits, and everyone who've concerned on the situation there, quickly supports the crumbling Dutch state,which-to everyone's dismay, also lured the French in,effectively rising the tensions up,to the point where a war possibly erupts.Due to the massive numbers of the rioters-and revolutionaries that forced most of the Dutch Army to NOT shooting the rioters, eventually all hell breaks loose, sending the Royal Family away to DEI,giving birth to the Socialist Republic of Netherlands, headed by Ferdinand Neuwenhuis,a prominent Socialist.

Following this, most of the Netherlands's colonies overseas are taken by the Brits, and the remnants on the East Indies. This, also eventually gave birth to world's first "Alliance" Organization, the Socialist International, with the three socialist state as the founding fathers. But everything costs something great,as prosecutions of Socialists finally reached the point of mass executions, triggering flocks of socialists, workers,to flee to France-and the two new Socialist states. What may come later is still unknown, but this,is how everything eventually starts.

End of Chapter One

Chapter Two:Menage A'Trois
Its already been half a decade, from 1873's "Red Revolutions" that took out three big European nations.Europe is on turmoil,as the lack of a friendly French,Netherlands and Belgian state, economically and politically. The three socialist nation, meanwhile, enjoys the benefits of socialism,as the worker class thrives on equality. The three nations itself saw many immigrants flocking from other nations, fleeing away from the brutal supressions of Britain,China,Germany,Russia, and every nations that have discovered Socialism. But this, also led to a mass flight of the upper class from the three nations,to American nations such as the USA,or the Mexico,or Colombia, hoping to escape the Public Safety Comitee's brutal supression. The Algerians,in the other hand, saw prosperity with this new "Socialism" thought,as the Government now successfully catches up the infrastructural aspects of the Algerian territories-with the French Mainland.

Since NEARLY everyone on Americas and Europe embargoed the three nations, the Internationale saw Asia-and Africa as a prospect, which also led to a mass spread of Blanquism on Asia, which Persia and Siam saw themselves rolling in the deep, red sea of socialism,as everyone now reads Marx's book,or Blanqui's books, developing their own thoughts and free will. But despite with this rather-"depressed" mood surrounding the world, the world saw peace,as there's no major wars occuring. Many thoughts eventually floods Asia, and Africa, triggering a "Second Enlightmenent" on them, paving way for a worser colonial treatments,in the future,as the colonial governments now faced prejudice and mistrust based from the new thoughts flooding in.

Many groups hides their books, fearing it will cost their lives,as on some locations, the Colonial Governments have gone brutal. But things, will change,as the dawn of Industrialization will reach its peak, not far from now,as Industrialization shall make a gain for the socialist, and also a considerable lost,as a war looms over them..soon..enough.
