For Want of A Sandwich - A Franz Ferdinand Lives Wikibox TL

If you asked the average person with a vague interest in history in the following countries ITTL who was their worst leader after 1914 (in either the most evil and/or most incompetent sense) and why, what kind of answer would you get for the following:
  • United States
  • Russia
  • Japan
  • Germany
  • China
  • Great Britain
  • Bharatvarsha
  • Iran
  • France
  • Brazil
  • Italy

Looks like swing takes the place of rock, or is at least what rock is referred to, given the hints about popular music in this world.

Normal people from OTL would be worried to see how antisemitism still prevails in Europe, how fascism is casually accepted and how racism in general is quite accepted. The United States and the Middle East are more progressive though than IOTL.

Ludendorff will have his place ITTL.
The 1932 Constitution was caused by economic trouble, discontent of the smaller member states and an electoral breakthrough of the SPD ; it is similar to the October Reforms but the office of Chancellor and Minister-President of Prussia also become separated, as is the relative weight of Prussia on both houses of the Reichstag.
Marie Adelaide married Archduke Joseph Francis of Austria and died in childbirth.

They would be concerned on how we appreciate communism but also how LGBT communities are still the subject of prejudice. They would also see the Catholic Church as much more conservative.

I believe you alluded to eugenics and forced sterilization being common in some countries. So it seems like 1910s attitudes on disabilities (“We’re helping the disabled by making sure there are fewer in the future.”) remain which would alarm many from OTL.

Ok but do they think of the Nazis.
On that note, another thing that might shock them would be the USSR and PRC, especially with how the CWR was very much a country forged in the urban, industrial, and developed setting Marx envisioned the Revolution to occur whereas the USSR and PRC were in rural and agrarian settings.

Speaking of eugenics, has it being a thing into the era of genetic engineering led to designer babies and all that being a bigger thing ITTL?

I've been thinking about ITTL current geopolitics lately. Which are the major international blocks in the world? Obviously there is the Reichspakt and there is Azania and others but is there a big rival for them in the 2020s? Is there talk about a possible second weltkrieg happening? Is there a list of current Reichspakt members??

Nice stuff.

Who were some other artists who opposed South Africa?
Many, such as IOTL.
Ok but do they think of the Nazis.
Each world as its perks.

Mmmm, well, it would be something like :
USA - Walter Evans Edge
Russia - Alexander Trishtany and Empress Dowager Alexandra
Japan - Hiroyasu Koga or Yasuhiro Nakasone
Germany -Franz von Papen
China - Wang Sheng
Great Britain -Winston Churchill
Bharatavarsha -Yogi Adityanath
Iran - The whole Qajar dynasty
France - Jacques Doriot
Brazil - Plinio Salgado
Italy - Depending on who you're asking, Gabriele D'Annunzio or Pier Luigi Bersani. Everybody agrees on Vittorio Emanuele IV.

Swing is the TTL term for rock'n'roll.

Eugenics are now out of fashion but remained there a long time, explaining the "progress" in human experimentation, such as cloning.
On that note, another thing that might shock them would be the USSR and PRC, especially with how the CWR was very much a country forged in the urban, industrial, and developed setting Marx envisioned the Revolution to occur whereas the USSR and PRC were in rural and agrarian settings.
Absolutely, hence the further eyes frowned upon Karl Marx.
How are the Falkland Islands, St. Helena, Ascenion, and Tristan Da Cunha, the Cayman Islands, the Pitcarin Islands, and Gibraltar doing ITTL.
Falkland Islands is part of Argentina and Gibraltar belongs to Spain. Others are still parts of Great Britain.
Speaking of eugenics, has it being a thing into the era of genetic engineering led to designer babies and all that being a bigger thing ITTL?
There was a fad of Nobel babies but it turned out to be a huge disappointment. Genetic manipulation is now a trend, as is transhumanism.

I will turn to the major blocks. Going with the World Council (that has more powers than the United Nations), I can see that there is the Havana Treaty Organization (led by America), the Pan-Asian Union (remake of the Sphere of Co-Prosperity but led by China), the European Community (the Reichspakt forms the military arm, their list of members will also be adressed).
The risk of a Second Weltkrieg is quite alive due to war between the Hashemite Empire and Iran that has begun in 2020 and started again in late 2022.

Great Britain -Winston Churchill
Yeah I had a feeling that was what it was going to be like for Winston Churchill ITTL, as it’s the complete opposite IOTL and of course parallelism is fun and funny.

Falkland Islands is part of Argentina and Gibraltar belongs to Spain. Others are still parts of Great Britain.
How are the English-speaking Brits that may or may not be there dealing with being under the the Spanish-speaking Argentinians and Spaniards?

Reminds me of…current events.

The Brits in Falklands were repatriated, but they live in good harmony in Spain.

He acted as PM in 1920's so it would be either something doing with Ireland or worker movements. Perhaps even both.
Yes, he was responsible for some crimes against the Irish and was the kind of guy to overthrow Persia’s prime minister for being “too socialist” so I wouldn’t be surprised if it was both.
