flag of the Ugric S.S.R.

Flag of Ugria - the seven arrows represent the 7 original tribes of the confederation, while the three rings represent unity, the three historical states (tribal kingdom->SSR->modern state), and the three turkic tribes which joined later.

Flag of the Kingdom of Tyrseny - an alt Italy that was united by the Medicis. The iris florentina is found on the peninsula and in the insular regions as well, representing the whole land. I reserve the right to come up with other versions though...

The first version is better because the vertical split follows the symmetrical centre line of the flower. In the second version, the horizontal split cuts awkwardly through the curvy sections and it doesn't fit as nicely.

So I know this thread is more for posting flag content than asking flag questions but IDK where else to ask.

If anyone here is familiar with the Balkans in the 1800s, perhaps you can help.

I've been reading about the first Serbian uprising lately for something I'm working on and I keep finding references to Voivode Flags (Vojvodske Zastave) used by the Vojvode (marshals/generals), of the revolutionary army. I have heard them described as "primarily red and white", I assume they are used to denote units commanded by a particular Vojvoda, but I have found little about them. I've seen people refer to the famous red flag with the coat of arms* as a Voivode Flag, as well as to the small flags featured on the coat of arms with the white cross on a red field. Does anyone know what these Voivode Flags actually were, how they worked, and which flags are Voivode Flags as opposed to regular rebel flags?

I'm waiting for a book on the uprising to come in so perhaps it will discuss this but I doubt it will focus that much on symbols like flags and heraldry.
